A Dover reprint of a book. Having seen many thin woodworking books on the store shelves over the years claiming profound insights into the construction of furniture X, it is nice to come across a simple, almost primitive book with beautiful dimensional drawings of quality furniture/5(4).
While the book does include some very nice examples of American Furniture, I would take issue with the "Measured Drawings" part of the title. The drawings provide enough measurements to give the proportions of the furniture pieces, but do not provide enough detail to accurately recreate the furniture/5(8).
